The contributions of Manuel V. Pangilinan (MVP) have impacted the lives of all Filipinos. His Metro Pacific Investments Corp (MPIC) has transformed the nation's infrastructure through PLDT/Smart (telecom), Meralco (power), Maynilad (water), tollways, etc. MVP is also one of the nation’s biggest supporters of sport through ownership of PBA teams, founding of Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), MVP Sports Foundation and crucial support for Olympians like Hidilyn Diaz and Carlos Yulo. His leadership of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) and the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) also impacts the nation far-and-wide.

Circle of Excellence is a genuine credential on its own. From roughly 45nominations per category, PC and the judges select 10 to 14 finalists.Each is publicly named, receives a trophy, goes on stage at AwardsNight, and earns speaking invitations at Asia CEO forums.
Companies have used the recognition to raise capital, close enterprisedeals, and attract senior talent. It carries weight because the selectionprocess is credible and the field is competitive.
